A scorching enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, billionaire romance from USA Today best-selling author Marni Mann …
One bed.
Two stranded strangers.
Three wildly passionate nights.
A thousand secrets between them.

After getting trapped in a blizzard, my private jet grounded, with no hotel room available within miles, I met a woman at the bar.

Rowan.

A knockout blessed with killer curves, gorgeous emerald eyes, and a mouth that should be illegal. She triggered all the primal and possessive emotions I’d never known I had.

Not the typical Cooper Spade that the world had come to know.

What followed was a fiery, unforgettable, wildly explosive weekend of sizzling touches, passionate nights, and intense chemistry.

The rebel had finally fallen …

But when the storm cleared, I returned to LA and learned that the woman I’d just spent seventy-two carnal hours with was the enemy, and I’d loved every minute of it

I love Marni Mann, so whenever I read there is a new book coming I get super excited. And ever since I read the first book in the Spade Hotel series, The Playboy, I couldn’t wait to dive into Marni’s next story. So when I received the ARC of ‘The Rebel’ I couldn’t start reading fast enough.

In ‘The Rebel’ we read the story of Cooper Spade and Rowan Cole. Cooper and Rowan meet one evening when they are stranded in a hotel during Christmas. Although being stranded this time of the year is anything but ideal, they spend three amazing fun days together. For both of them it’s hard to say goodbye when the time comes. The chemistry between them is amazing, and they both feel like there might be more than just a weekend fling between them.

Unfortunately, shortly after arriving back home, Cooper and  Rowan find out there families have been enemies for a very long time. There are many secrets between them, and a relationship between them could never work.

From the moment I started reading ‘The Rebel’ I completely fell in love with Cooper and Rowan. Both characters are very hardworking, family minded and they definitely deserve someone nice in their lives. But the last thing they expect is their family rivalry. And there family rivalry is no picnic.

I love enemies to lovers romance stories, so this one was definitely for me. I didn’t really get why both Cooper and Rowan kept there many secrets, but it sure made for some fun and interesting moments.  The banter between these characters was so fun and I was rooting for them from the start.

The chemistry between Cooper and Rowan was wonderful, and made me want to keep on reading. There was so much passion between them it was hard to read when they where arguing at times. But the thing I loved the most about this book was how selfless these characters where. Whenever an issue occurred, they both tried to do what was best. And although Cooper and Rowan had their struggles, they worked so well together.

There where some fun twists and turns throughout the book, and I loved reading about the different side characters as well. It felt like I was reading about old friends, and I really enjoyed it. I didn’t really get the name of the book, The Rebel, since I didn’t really find Cooper such a rebel myself but that cover sure is amazing.

‘The Rebel’ was a fun romantic and steamy read set in the hotel business world. And I can’t wait to read more books in this series. There definitely are some other family members out there I’m really curious about.

About Marni Mann

USA Today best-selling author Marni Mann knew she was going to be a writer since middle school. While other girls her age were daydreaming about teenage pop stars, Marni was fantasizing about penning her first novel. She crafts unique stories that weave together her love of darkness, mystery, passion, and human emotions. A New Englander at heart, she now lives in Sarasota, Florida, with her husband and their yellow Lab. When she’s not nose deep in her laptop, working on her next novel, she’s scouring for chocolate, sipping wine, traveling, or devouring fabulous books.
